Biography
Sam Afshari was a 17-year-old computer science student from Karaj, fluent in English and German. He was killed on January 8, 2026, in Asbi Square, Azimieh, Karaj, by direct fire from Islamic Republic agents. His mother later danced in front of his memorial portrait, mourning his death instead of celebrating his wedding.
سام افشاری، نوجوان ۱۷ ساله اهل کرج و دانشآموز رشته کامپیوتر بود که به زبانهای انگلیسی و آلمانی مسلط بود. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۸ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در میدان اسبی عظیمیه کرج، با شلیک مستقیم مأموران جمهوری اسلامی به قتل رسید. مادرش به جای جشن دامادی فرزندش، در مقابل تصویر یادبود او پایکوبی کرد.
